German Government Leaks Game’s DLC Announcement Before It’s Even Released
The DLC for the upcoming Atlas Fallen game seems to have leaked early. The premature reveal comes from the German Ministry of Economy.
According to a report from GamesWirtschaft, the DLC is called Atlas Fallen: The Wielder of Gods and it could be completed by February 2024. A user on Reddit explained that video game studios in Germany, including Atlas Fallen’s developer Deck13 Interactive, receive financial support from the Ministry of Economy for upcoming projects.

As a result, the Ministry of Economy needs to report to the public about projects on its agenda, which led to the Atlas Fallen DLC leak. The report notes that Deck13 received almost 1.09 million euros to develop the DLC.
Atlas Fallen shouldn’t be confused with 2014’s Lords of the Fallen, which Deck13 was also the developer of. Both games are completely unrelated to each other. Additionally, developer Hexworks is working on a Lords of the Fallen soft reboot game, which was originally revealed as Lords of the Fallen 2 before it was renamed.
Atlas Fallen was originally set to launch on May 16 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. However, it was pushed back to August 10.
