The Mandalorian Season 3 Poster Revealed, New Trailer Arriving Tonight

A brand new poster has been revealed for The Mandalorian’s third season ahead of its trailer debut during tonight’s NFL Wild Card Game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

You can see the poster below, and be sure to tune into the game tonight, January 16, at 5:15pm PT/8:15pm ET to see the trailer. If you live in the GMT or AEDT timezones, that translates to January 17 at 1:15am GMT/12:15pm AEDT. We will also have the trailer here on IGN as soon as it goes live.

The poster was revealed by Star Wars’ Twitter account and features Grogu and Mando together again in the middle of a battle, and Mando is using his jetpack to escape an explosion or fire of some sort. While his cape appears to have taken some damage, he’s got a firm grip on Grogu and is thankfully keeping him safe.

Football games have been a popular place for trailer debuts recently, as the College Football Playoff National Championship saw the arrival of the latest trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania earlier this month.

The Mandalorian will return for its third season on Disney+ on March 1, 2023, and the official trailer revealed during D23 2022 revealed that this new story looks to be setting up a big conflict on Mandalore and it will deal with the “consequences” of Mando’s big decision.

The Mandalorian is just one of the many things fans from that galaxy far, far away can expect in 2023, and will be joined by such other projects as Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Star Wars: Ahsoka, future episodes of Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and more.
