How to solve the Legend of Soaring Spear puzzle for the Utojis Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Legend of Soaring Spear is something you’ll learn about in the Tobio’s Hollow area of Necluda. From the Popla Foothills Skyview Tower, travel slightly to the southwest until you see a hilly section just before the jungles of Faron.
The Tobio’s Hollow Cave is here, and you’ll find a notebook with this clue:
Throw the Zonai Spear with a wing from the pedestal through the ring. Should your aim be true and right, you’ll be blessed with dispelling light.
Now, to solve the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Legend of Soaring Spear riddle, you’ll want to take a look at your surroundings. At the very end of the Tobio’s Hollow Cave tunnels, you’ll see a ring suspended on the opposite side of the chamber. There’s also a pedestal that you can stand on. However, on the ground, you should see several Zonai Spears strewn about. You can make use of these so you don’t waste your actual weapons.
As for the “wing” part, well, remember all the enemies you fought to get to this spot? Those were Keese Bats, right? You should have plenty of Keese Wings with you. As such, do the following:
- Stand on the pedestal.
- Open your inventory and select a Keese Wing. Drop it next to you.
- Select any Zonai Spear that you’ve just picked up and equip it.
- Activate Fuse, and combine the Zonai Spear with a Keese Wing.
- Aim at the ring and throw your Zonai Spear through the center.
Thanks to the Keese Wing attachment, the weapon will fly further through the air, piercing the ring, and causing the Shrine to materialize. Inside is a Rauru’s Blessing domain, where you’ll find a Large Zonai Charge.
